The University of Hong Kong Alumni Rowing Club (HKUARC) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (PDPO).

  • University of Hong Kong and its subsidiaries: For handling and processing donation records, as well as issuing receipts.
  • Hong Kong, China Rowing Association (HKCRA): For managing membership status, enrolling in events, and other administrative processes related to rowing.
  • Governmental and Regulatory Authorities: Personal data may be disclosed to relevant government departments, tax authorities, law enforcement agencies, or other appropriate authorities in Hong Kong to meet legal, regulatory, or administrative requirements.

We will not disclose your personal data to any other third parties unless we have your consent or are required to do so by law.

The University of Hong Kong Alumni Rowing Club (HKUARC) collects your personal data to facilitate communication with our alumni community and manage our operations in accordance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (PDPO).
